Welcome to First Fruits Produce Market!
It's Almost September! PDF Print E-mail

It's almost back to school time which means apples are being harvested!

We've already picked some of our early apples and will have Gala apples this weekend.  We also have some Gingergold and Sansa apples.  These three varieties are delicious and sweet.

We are more than half-way through our peach harvest.  All of the peaches we have our free-stone and great for eating and canning.  We have Suncrest, Sweet Dream, Early Improved Elberta and Saturn peaches.

Nectarines are being harvested also.  We have Flavortop and Red Gold (yellow-flesh) and Arctic Glo (white-flesh).

Big, plump, local blueberries and blackberries are available, too.

We have Duarte plums that are tasty.  We will have Dapple Dandy Pluots in a week or so.,

We are serving PEACH and NECTARINE SHAKES, and they are DELICIOUS!  If you haven't tried one, we think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how refreshing they are.

We also have a variety of lovely items that are great gifts for yourself or to bless someone with.  We have a wonderful variety of "Georgetown" pet planters.  These are adorable planters that can accommodate either a 4" or 6" pot.  They come in various dogs (Jack Russell Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Labrador Retriever, Dachshund, Pug and Chihuahua), "Glamour" and "Stray" cats, "Mama" and "Baby" bears, large and small Roosters and Moose, and a very cute horse.

We are clearing out our inventory on "Icing On The Cake" ceramic products.  Most items are marked down but from now until we close this season, we are taking an additional 20% off on sale-priced items.  These are beautifully crafted teapots, vases, trinket boxes, plates, etc. that would make ideal gifts.

Dried Morel mushrooms that were picked in June, 2010 are available in a vacuum-sealed jar.  These come in one (1) pint jars with one (1) ounce of mushrooms.

Other gift items such as framed inspirational verses (some of which are embroidered), pictures, beautiful Thai silk scarves and a large variety of salt and pepper shakers make nice gifts that are very affordable.  Well-crafted straw hats by Tula in a variety of styles are also on display.

We have the three volumes of "Legends & Legacies" by Rod Molzahn which is a compilation of historic stories and music of Wenatchee and North Central Washington.  Columbia River Basin by John W. Hite is a well produced pictorial book about Central Washington and the vast agricultural industry.

We invite you to stop in to browse and to "sit a spell" on our new patio.

Blessings,

The Staff and Management of First Fruits Produce Market
